What Are Your Favorite Online Resources?

My favorites at St. George's, Collierville (grades 6-12) are:

United Streaming, Atomic Learning, Explore Learning, netTrekker, BrainPop, Quia, and TrackStar. United Streaming is the most popular and used the most by teachers and students. We also have access to support sites for some curricular areas such as math that are used a great deal.

But MY favorite is Google Earth. We also use other Google applications…especially Google docs. Every student and teacher now has Google Earth loaded on their laptop and ready to go! It is used in lots of curricular areas...history, literature, etc.

I just have to add my favorite two sites...ThinkQuest.org and Internet4Classrooms! These sites along with netTrekker help the elementary teachers find sites to enhance their students learning.

Brenda, I like the PRD for information on demographics, although it doesn't use the google mapping tool it is a great resource for information.

I work in a PK-8 school, where I try to provide resources that can be used at home and at school. Some of my favorites include:

Dance Mat Typing- online typing program, however it does not do progress tracking.
Multiflyer-an online multiplication game.
Oswego City School District Math Games- one of my teachers uses for a time test tool since we are striving to "paperless".
Color in Motion- a neat animation that introduces meaning of colors to students.
