Preparing Students with 21st Century Skills
My First Post
Well, it has taken a while for me to get on the "bandwagon", even though my school uses blogs and wikis and I am the primary teacher of these tools, this is the first chance I have gotten to try these tools out for myself.
Here is my background:
I am starting my 3rd year at St. Raphael's Catholic School. We have a 1:2.42 student to computer ratio and we are slowly working our way to becoming a 1:1 school (at least in our middle school). I tried this year to put one of our new carts in our primary classroom, the laptop cart became a primary fixture in our 2nd grade classroom.
This year at NECC my hope is to get additional training on how to be a leader in my school. I am truly blessed with a fantastic principal who believes that technology integration is a must, she will be attending NECC with me.
